"Wild Things" - Seaway Review

Written by Hannah Clough

Canadian pop-punk favorites Seaway are at it again, dropping another hit single off their upcoming album, “Big Vibe”, called “Wild Things!” This song is not what I was expecting to ever hear from Seaway, but I’m definitely not mad about it; it’s more laid-back and chill rather than more chaotic like we are used to hearing from them.

“Wild Things” is completely different from the first single released about a month ago, “Big Vibe”, leaving fans not really knowing what to expect from the album, which drops October 16, 2020. Seaway is one of those bands that is full of surprises, and if they chose to drop another single, I would assume it’ll be vastly different from the two out now.

“Wild Things” will definitely be a lot of fun live, and I could see it being a fan favorite on the album. Times are crazy right now with concerts on an indefinite hiatus, so releasing an album is brave, to say the least.

Make sure to support your favorite bands if you have the means to do so! As a record collector myself, I highly recommend pre-ordering this album on vinyl if you can.

"Wild Things" is available to stream wherever you listen to music, and you can keep up with Seaway by following them on Twitter @seawayband. You can support the band by pre-ordering a merch bundle for "Big Vibe", including vinyl, shirts, sweatshirts, masks, tote bags, water bottles, and more.

Did you like Seaway's new single, and did it get you even more excited for their upcoming record? Let us know by tweeting us @lgndsoftmrw, and come back here on October 16th for a full review of the new album, "Big Vibe!"
