Taking Back Sunday- Photo Gallery & Review

Taking Back Sunday photographed by Kristen Zarra at Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia on 11/14/19.

Taking Back Sunday, a rock band from Long Island, NY, has been touring throughout all of 2019 in celebration of their 20-yearanniversary. On January 11th, they released ‘Twenty’, an album that is a 21-song collection of their music with two new songs, ‘All Ready To Go’ and ‘A Song For Dan’. During this year long tour, Taking Back Sunday traveled throughout Australia, Asia, Latin America, the U.S, Canada, the U.K, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. This celebration tour is a bit different than their normal tours, they decided to play through full albums for their fans every night –letting a coin flip determine if they would be playing ‘Where You Want To Be’ or ‘Louder Now’. Every night they will be playing‘Tell All Your Friends’ followed by the album chosen by the coin. Night one in Philadelphia experienced ‘Louder Now’ and night two got to hear ‘Where You Want To Be’.Despite performing two albums in their entirety, TBS also plays four encore songs as well. Allthe fans in the crowd sang and danced along, reliving the moments and memories connected to these songs. Someone even brought balloons and tossed them above the crowd. Everyone in that venue came out to celebrate music that they have grown to love with the band that created it. The venue was filled with amazing energy, that everyone kept alive the entire night. Taking Back Sunday has also released a limited addition vinyl press as well, limited to 1,000 copies and can be found online and ontour. They have a couple shows coming up at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on December 13thand 14thalong with their annual pop-up holiday event. You can find tickets here.
