"Still Blue" - Seaway Review

Written by Hannah Clough

After all the new music released this week, Seaway had to join the fun with “Still

Blue”. This single is our last look into their upcoming album “Big Vibe”, which is

set to drop on October 16th.

In my review of “Wild Things", the band's last single, I assumed "Still Blue" would be different from the other two previously released tracks, and it looks like I was right. This song is more straight-up rock-leaning rather than their usual pop-punk sound, which is a good look on this band for sure.

The lyrics are a bit odd, but the rhythm and energy make it an overall killer track. Seaway, as we know, is not a band who tends to stick with the same sound from album to album, so if you started listening to them in their earlier years as I did, you might be feeling a little skeptical about this album.

However, if the rest of the record is anything like the three singles we’ve gotten so far, I think it has the potential to be their best album. Also, the music video for this track is insane and indescribable; you can check it out for yourself here.

Their merch game is strong this era with t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, tote bags, water bottles, masks, and more, and you can pick all of those up on their website.
