House & Home are a band that have stood out to me from the moment I first listened to them, and a band that I’ve been following since the beginning of their career. After their 2018 debut EP and a few singles, they’ve finally released a new track titled “Heatseeker,” off of their highly-anticipated upcoming debut LP, “Find Sense. Feel Love. Make Light.”
The instrumentals are a bit softer at first, allowing the vocals and memorable melodies to shine in the beginning. More instrumentals gradually come in and build up the song to some harder hitting sections with powerful instrumentals and strong vocal performances that bring just as much emotion to the table. The overall dynamics and the contrast between these sections really draws the listener in as the song repeatedly builds up to these huge, harder hitting performances throughout its duration, and it makes the track even more captivating.
House & Home’s music has impressed me over and over again for the past few years, and this new song is no different. From the raw emotion shown through the performances to the memorable composition, “Heatseeker” is another great track from House & Home, and only makes me even more curious and excited to see what else the band has to offer on the rest of “Find Sense. Feel Love. Make Light.”
