2LATE is an up and coming artist operating out of the Boston area, soon to release his debut album, “Up Till 2.” To promote his debut album, 2LATE released the lead single and summer anthem, “Ecstasy.”
“Ecstasy,” much like 2LATE’s earlier work, is electrifying. The production of all of his work is great at making the listener feel the song, and this is no different. 2LATE has never been one to struggle with making one appreciate the beat, but “Ecstasy” still shows a great improvement, really making the song stick with the listener.
“Ecstasy” is the perfect song for the summertime. As the heat starts to hit, and people are starting to go outside, this is the good feeling electric song to theme those summer days to. If in need of a great song to put on the aux in the car with friends, this is a great choice to turn to.
As much as the theme of change and evolution has been mentioned with this song in regards to 2LATE’s sound, it still captures everything that people who have grown to love his music should expect. Listening to his previous EP and going to this single, it feels like the perfect next step that fans will love.
